Initiative for Disability Mobility in Africa (IdMAfrica) is rooted in a deep sense of compassion, empathy, and a fervent desire for social justice. It began with a shared vision among a group of individuals who recognized the pressing need to address the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities across the African continent.
The inspiration behind IdMAfrica emerged from personal experiences, encounters, and observations of the founders, who witnessed firsthand the daily struggles and barriers encountered by individuals with disabilities in accessing essential services, mobility aids, and opportunities for social inclusion.
Driven by a collective commitment to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities, the founders embarked on a journey to establish IdMAfrica. Their vision was not only to provide immediate relief and support but also to foster long-term empowerment, advocacy, and systemic change.
Through collaboration, dedication, and unwavering determination, IdMAfrica was born. From its humble beginnings, the organization has grown into a beacon of hope and a catalyst for positive change, serving as a lifeline for individuals with disabilities and their communities across Africa.
IdMAfrica is a testament to the power of compassion, empathy, and collective action in driving transformative change. We are committed to providing mobility aids to those with the most urgent need. Through our upcoming project, we aim to distribute 1000 wheelchairs to individuals in remote communities who lack access to mobility aids. These wheelchairs will not only restore independence and dignity but also enable recipients to participate fully in their communities and pursue their dreams.

By building capacity at the grassroots level, we aim to create sustainable change and promote the inclusion and empowerment of individuals with disabilities within their communities.
